Field Notes

Description:

-up to about 12" long from head to tail
-very big body in comparison to small, thin legs
-note the distinctive pinkish nose
-tongue is purple-ish blue

Habitat:

found it in a garage of one of our neighbors, so we took it out in a bucket. It probably came from the jungle-like patch of land behind their house: lots of shade and hiding places, some water here and there. that's where we set it free.

Notes:

makes hissing sounds when threatened
