Description:

Broad-bodied chaser dragonfly. These are chunky dragonflies. Males are blue with yellow down their sides. Females are yellowish brown with yellow down the sides. All four wings have a black mark at the base and on the tip of each wing. Flight period is Apr - Aug.

Habitat:

This broad-bodied chaser was spotted on a small twig standing over a pond at Kinder Farm Park in Millersville, Maryland
