Description:
3 to 15 feet high. White, 5 petals, growing in terminal clusters, the outer ones showy ad much larger than the inner ones. Leaves Opposite, with 3 broad and pointed lobes, mildly toothed, 2-5 inches long.
Habitat:
Cool moist woods and cold swamps.
