Description:

This is a Female of much popular fan throated lizard, that displays multi-colour fan during the mating season.

Habitat:

This species inhabits moderately moist scrub, rocky and sandy coastal areas, and open areas in dry forests and dry scrublands (Sharma 2002, Bahir and Surasinghe 2005)
