Description:
Black plumage that also shows inky-blue colour when light hits it. Very large and powerful bill. the touch of pink at the gape indicates this one is not an adult yet.
Habitat:
My rooftop terrace where it came along with the more regular House crows (Corvus splendens) and other birds to eat the food I put out. Urban residential area.
Notes:
The eastern jungle crow and Indian jungle crow were once considered conspecific and together called the jungle crow. I could not make up my mind which this one was so I used the old nomenclature.
