Field Notes

Description:

This is a juvenile eastern bluebird. I had never seen one before and at first did not know what they were. There were about five flying around the meadow. Juveniles are speckled breasted. There are plenty of bluebird boxes around for them at this farm.

Habitat:

In the meadow at Kinder Farm Park, Millersville, Maryland.
