The butterfly has a weak flight and keeps low while landing frequently on bushes to bask in the sun.

Habitat:

dry shrub land

Notes:

The larvae feed onbuds of Ixora coccinea belonging to family Rubiaceae and shoots and flowers of Hopea spp belonging to family Dipterocarpaceae.
