Field Notes

Description:

Large jelly-beanish grasshopper, vivid green with small pink wings.

Habitat:

An upland meadow, maybe somewhere between 800 and 1000 m altitude. Could be more.

Notes:

I'm not an expert on Orthoptera species, but it's the closest thing I could find. Wiki says it's endemic to Hungary though.
According to IUCN Red List, it is a vulnerable specie (VU).

*Forgot to add that it's a female, males are much smaller.
