Field Notes

Description:

This was quite a big Assasin Bug, around 2 cm in size but it caught a much bigger meal of a Katydid. Freshly caught, the Katydid was still struggling a bit when first spotted, but I think the Assasin Bug injected poison into its prey to keep them still while it feeds on their juices.
