Field Notes

Description:

Three different beetles of the same species, found in the same park. Medium sized beetle. Mostly black with yellow/orange near the margins of the protonum. This species of firefly does not have a "light" and is the largest species in this genus.

Habitat:

Temperate forest. Found mostly resting on tree trunks.
