Description:

Diploglossus is a genus of Anguid lizards. It has nineteen described species. Species are found in North and South America.

Habitat:

Seen in the Reptile exhibition at the InBio Park in Santo Domingo, Heredia, Costa Rica.
It is a terrestrial species that inhabits the tropical rain forest where it is very humid.
