http://m.wikihow.com/Identify-a-Crab-Spider It's a crab spider. I found the exact spider on a wall in my house recently. They are harmless.
i found exactly the same species in my house in lago vista(northwest of austin). it is NOT a brown recluse. i was looking to identify it further when i ran across this picture. it is obviously some kind of crab spider, a typical house spider. tell yours i have his cousin if they want to get together for the holidays.
It's a brown recluse spider. I just found one in my apartment in Waco. Looked suspicious, so I looked up pictures and more info. The one I had looked almost identical and was walking sideways to avoid its inevitable death (by flip flop). Googled if they could walk sideways and, lo and behold, it can walk easily in all directions. The adults look a little different, but basic body colorization is the same... So yeah, a little late, but it's definitely a brown recluse.
