Description:

Herb. Flat, broad and ovalish leaves. Bell shaped yellow flower.

Habitat:

Growing wild near the rock -cut stairs of Hemis Monastery in the Himalayan region of Ladakh. It is 40 km. southeast of Leh town and on the west bank of the Indus River. Altitude of 12,000 feet.
