Description:

I'm fully aware these are terrible pictures and not very recognizable, but I promise there is a bear there. This was my first wild bear, and of course it was at night so the pictures came out terrible. I ended up seeing a baby and teenager bear up closer the next night, but I didn't have my camera with me.

Habitat:

I specifically went to my friends house in the mountains of New Mexico so she could show me my first wild bear. They come down from the mountain at night and raid the dumpsters in the neighborhood. After we checked all the alleys and failed at finding one, she took me to a house where the people are known for feeding them (which I don't support), but sure enough there were two bears there. One day I hope to see them during the day time and get much better pictures!

Still a rad experience! I have yet to see a bear in the wild! I so badly want to see one! Very cool!
heh, good spotting! Sometimes the time of day is not in our favor.
