Field Notes

Description:

Medium sized, slender, and black. If startled, it will attempt to escape at a relatively high speed. Once captured, will strike repeatedly.

Habitat:

Common in suburban areas. Normally found basking in the sun in a field of grass.

Notes:

Bit me in the thumb.
