:D yup, I don't see a reason why shouldn't they do so! :)
Haven't heard of that but since they spend millions of euros on nature projects they can spend a few thousands on exploring kids like us :). There are a few organizations that fund projects only in Europe!
many, many thousands, yes :) luck and a sharp eyes woul be great :) well, at least you still can learn about the insect world in France :) and mushrooms a bit later :) they really fund something like that?
Hahaah, yea need to find thousands of organisms, good luck to us :). Now it's the perfect mushroom season but not yet in France. In DK was really nice, mushrooms everywhere :). We are the future entomologists, none can say anything about that :). At some point we need to get some fundings from European Union and do some European biodiversity expeditions, keep that in mind the idea just pumped and it's not impossible :)
Looks crazy amazing!!!! I haven't seen it either. So I will have to find it! :) (haha, I have to find green caterpillar, blue mushroom (I checked, I have that blue edible mushroom in my country, too), and so many other organisms :)) ) I will keep that book for a while, so if you remember something that you want to know, just let me know! :) haha, we're self-proclaimed entomologists- colleagues :)) Nice! :)
I was suposed to check it before I leave but totally forgot it and then thought I could rely on you as a colleague :)
You have an amazing memory!!! :) In the book there was Pseudoips fagana, but as I understood they are synonymes :)
Thanks, can you please check which species is it if you still have that book because I left mine in DK. I think there was a photo of this one in the pages where all the other caterpillars were illustrated :).
nice spotting! Ive never seen such a caterpillar.
Well done! :) Color is amazing!! And prolegs are very interesting, too! :)
