Field Notes

Habitat:

Canal/deciduous habitat.

Notes:

This is a male. Having never seen this species before, I found 5 males and one female in the same area in one day! They were all within a 20 yard stretch. The males are very difficult to photograph because they don't stick around long when under pressure. They don't even play peek-a-boo on the top and bottoms of the leaves. They just jump into the grass and dissappear.
