Field Notes

Description:

About 20cm in length with long and narrow tail, light grey above, cream whitish below with yellow vent and rump. At this time of the year, it's hard to say the sex of this beauty - in summer, males develop the black throat, while females keep theirs white, like here.

Habitat:

Seen in a marshy grounds of lowland hardwood forest, Geneva lake valley at feet of Jura mountain range, and on borders of an urban center.

Notes:

Not the sharpest pics I produced, but decided to keep them as Grey wagtail keeps being hard to photograph...
