Field Notes

Description:

Large, four-legged, hoofed grazing mammal. Brown fur, large heads.

Habitat:

Plains and meadows of North-central U.S. These ones were seen near the west edge of Yellowstone National Park.

Notes:

There was a whole herd of Buffalo along with calves right along the side of the road.
