Description:

Stewart Island Robin or Toutouwai (Petroica australis rakiura), un-tagged juvenile.

Habitat:

Gondwanaland remnant forest.

Notes:

Ulva Island bird sanctuary. All of the birds on the island had leg bands, which means this young one had yet to be captured and tagged.
