Description:

"Adult white-tails have reddish-brown coats in summer which fade to a duller grayish-brown in winter."
-National Geographic

Habitat:

I found this doe in a mixed forest near a swamp. She was with a group of about 15 other deer. Found in a lower peninsula nature center.

Notes:

She looked like a healthy older doe in good shape. She did not look injured.
