Habitat:

Seen in a pond in the La Selva Biological Research Station.

Notes:

I think this is the last of my spottings of reptiles and Amphibians from Costa Rica...

Hehehe, thanks John. Interseting thing about this Black River Turtle is that is is definitely NOT black! Maybe it originates in a river called Black River!! hehe... Or maybe it's just coated with red mud!

I wouldn't worry Sergio, this species is widespread throughout lower Central America
I hope you mean this is your last photo of these animals, nott that this is the last surviving one...
