Field Notes

Description:

A slender dark purple-blackish salamander with white flecks and yellow blotches. It measured approximately 7 mm.

Habitat:

It was found crossing a paved road close to a rocky bluff.

Notes:

The location is inexact on purpose as this is a rare species. It was found in Campbell County, TN.
