Zygaenidae looks fine for me!
Hi bayucca, After 3 months possibly found a partial ID Limacodid Slug Caterpillar, your thoughts please sir. http://www.whatsthatbug.com/2010/05/06/mystery-from-thailand-caterpillar/
Hmm, your links show rather spikes than "fleshy tubes". I would not be too fixed on Chrysomelidae, could be, but could also be something else, even not a beetle. As you can see I was careful with my comment ;-)...
Hi bayucca Turned up some similar (ish) images searching on your suggestion, identified as Chrysomelidae larvae http://www.whatsthatbug.com/2008/09/27/unknown-tortoise-beetle-larva-on-iris-leaf/ http://bugguide.net/node/view/538608/bgimage
Reminds me of a beetle larva?
Wow, this is totally bizarre. Great job spotting this RobThacker
