Description:

This is unfortunately my only shot of this type of hummingbird (and yes, just got him with its eyes closed, as well).
The adult Long-tailed Hermit has a curved beak and brownish green feathers above and white beige below. It has a dark mask through the eye, bordered above and below with whitish stripes. The sexes are similar, although the female is slightly smaller.
