Description:
Description: Also seen near lakes edge. Male and female were calmly paddling through the water. Once they noticed me, they moved further out into the lake. Appeared to be average size of adult Mallard’s. The male had a green colored head, and streaks of dark brown on the body and wings while the female was almost completely light brown.

Habitat: Can be found in North America and Eurasia in wetlands, ponds, lakes, and estuaries.
