Field Notes

Description:

It has a white crown. Rest of head, back, wings, chin, throat and breast are dark black. Undersurface areas and tail are bright orange-chestnut.
Bill, eyes, legs and feet are blackish. rapid mover on ground and flits around but also sits still on high perches and sings.

Habitat:

I saw many of these at the Ule Ethnic Resort on the banks of the River Indus. There were many flowering and fruiting trees and this bird was everywhere.
