Canal/deciduous habitat.

Notes:

Oddly enough, this male did not fly away when I approached. He kept skimming the water back and forth, so his mate was in the area, or a clutch of eggs.

Thank you very much kdpicturemaker. They are a bit smaller than a typical mallard. They are around 20 inches long, give or take a couple. Thanks again for the kind words, as they are always appreciated.
Such a 'crazy' outfit! Should be in a circus! Great photos, reflection and movement. Do you have an approximate idea of the size of these birds?
