wow! thank you miss ForestDragon! I thought they were mating because I couldn't tell the difference between a wasp and a cricket, but I do observed a big difference esp. on the legs. Again, a huge thanks! It means a lot! :)
Franz, you have a great spotting here of a wasp with a cricket as prey. The wasp is sitting on top of the cricket. I am not sure which species of wasp this is at this time, but there are species that are cricket hunters. They stun the crickets and bring them back to the nest as food for the young.
