Field Notes

Description:

this is a baby, about 3-4" long from head to tail, about 2 weeks of age

Habitat:

tropical climate, often eats fruit/vegetables from peoples gardens

Notes:

interesting fact: these lizards do not lay eggs. the babies get born alive, and left alone after a while to live lives of their own. whats also interesting is that the natives believe that these animal are strongly venemous, killing people with one bite. this, however, is not true.
