Field Notes

Description:

This was about two inches long, from the base of the stem to the top, and was slimy. I found it on a rainy day during a rainy, drizzly week.

Habitat:

Mountainous area with deciduous and conifer forest. this spot was under oak and maple trees, with some underbrush and some logs and fallen branches.
