This looks like the exuvia (empty pupal case) of a ladybug (most likely the multicolored Asian lady beetle). I raised quite a few this spring. They have a fascinating life cycle, although the larvae are a bit aggressive and have voracious appetites. If you do not keep up on the aphid supply they will begin to eat one another.
