Field Notes

Description:

Small blue bird with a black band on eye. Dark shades on wings.

Habitat:

Spotting sitting on the rocks on the hillside leadind downto the River Indus. I spotted this from the viewpoint of Ule Ethnic Resort, Ladakh.

Notes:

In the book Birds of the Himalayas the colour is exactly as in my photographs. On the internet the colour appears more vibrant.
