Description:
Eriopis connexa has an oblong body shape. The base color dark brown to black with yellowish relatively large, separated dots. The pronotum and the elytra (wing covers) have a yellowish margin. Each elytron has three separated dots and the enlargements of the margin, the pronotum two smaller dots and two enlargements of the margin.
Eriopis connexa is a voracious predator of aphids.

Adults are light colored. Over time, this color will darken becoming black with white spots and orange. Typically females are more robust than the males. The female performs posture in a single layer, with an average of 26 eggs per egg. The eggs are elliptical and light yellow color remained so until close to hatching, when they become gray. The incubation period is three days. The larva is elongated body, with their respective regions and with different segmentation abdominal legs and antennae well developed larval stage lasts 14 days. The pupa is initially clear but darkens over time. The entire cycle from egg to adult lasts 21 days.
