Field Notes

Description:

Fuzzy yellow-green caterpillar with two black spikes at the head and one at the tail. Six tufts of black down the middle of the back.

Habitat:

Found in Ozark forest.

I think I didn't think much about the hairs. Hmm, I think your IDea is better than mine, I obviously didn't focus much on the black hairs at the back.

I was thinking Dagger Moth, but what of these spikes down the back? I didn't think to photo the legs. Oops. But, I did observe that under all that fuzz, it appeared green.
