Description:

I think this is a species of Cobweb Spider (Family Theridiidae ). Tiny spider. Reddish thorax with a marbled gray abdomen. Enlarged pedipalps. Found in a folded leaf.

Habitat:

Temperate forest. Sunken Meadow State Park, New York.
