Description:

female three toed box turtles are deferent from males because of brown eyes a convex plastron. they also have a more rounded carapace.

Notes:

found early in the morning… stopped her just long enough to get some photos. about 5 minutes later we found a male 15 feet from where we found her… the male turtle will be posted in a spotting later on.
