Field Notes

Description:

Spotted both an intermediate morph and a light morph. The Intermediate had found some prey and was being harassed by Kingbirds. The light morph was sitting in a nest. <br>
Large hawks mostly brown on the upperparts and light colored on the underparts. Has a white forhead and white chin. The necks is bib of brown. Yellow on the upper part of the beak and yellow legs.

Habitat:

open plains.
