Description:

Rosette of leaves. Upright thin stalks with grass-flower like flowers.

Habitat:

Quite barren landscape of Ladakh, a cold desert region.

Notes:

I wonder how plants growing in such inhospitable areas get nutrition.
The husk of the seed is taken as a laxative and sold under the name Sat-isabgul.

Possibly Plantago sp. The leaf formation and flower look similar Sukanya, but I'm not familiar with the plants in your country
