Field Notes

Description:

Small soft and wingless mimic of the adult in body shape found living on a lemon tree. Like all locust young they jump weakly compared to the adults and emerge from egg pods laid down in soil over winter.

Habitat:

Found in vegitative green belts and gardens where adults are identified with the clicking sound of wings as the fly by.

Notes:

May also be Nymph of Green Citrus Locusts, however it is absent in africa and found mainly in indian and eastern asia.
