Description:
One of several species of yellow violets found in the United States, this is the only species in eastern North America with the flowers and leaves on separate stalks.
Habitat:
Mesic habitat areas of the eastern United States and Canada; from Tennessee and Kentucky south to Georgia.
Notes:
Spotted at Anna Ruby Falls in Helen, GA
