Sawtooth mushrooms
-37.8163, 145.862
Field Notes
Description:
A pair of caps about 50mm across with distinctly serated gill margins, slight umbo, scaly stipes.
Habitat:
From the trunk of a very wet tree fern.. possibly dicksonia.
Notes:
Yet to ID these. The gills make me think of Lentinellus but the only other one I know with a stipe is L.tasmanicus which grows on drier eucalyptus and has a distinct depression in the cap.
