Field Notes

Description:

A bunch of sun tanning turtles. Size variations from 5cm to 20cm. Brown pattern both on shell and body with yellow and red highlights.

Habitat:

Suburban park by a lake - somewhat marshy environment

Notes:

These guys were sunny happily and lazily. The most amusing was the attempt if one turtle which was in the water and kept trying to climb on a log. But either could not climb the spot it tried, or it pushed another turtle in the water, or the part he climbed would get heavy and the log would sink a bit and the poor turtle would still be wet instead of sunning :)
