Field Notes

Description:

Same 'mantis' at different sites. Light green back, restlessly running around. Length: 26mm.

Notes:

Spotted last night among many moths. It's grabbing the smaller moths, perhaps to eat them.

Reminds me of a Lichen or Bark Mantis. There are several genus of this kind of Mantises around. Humbertiella, Gyromantis just to mentioned some. I did not find a reasonable match, so just a hint.
Thanks TabrisTabarsi for the attention. This one has greenish wings which is quite lacy. Head to wing-end length: 30mm.
maybe a young mantis, seen one like that myself but black and smaller, about 1 cm long.
