Description:

Right at the end of the public beach in Manuel Antonio there is a lagoon with mangrooves that penetrates inside the park. This is right next to the beach where people of all ages bath and hang around. Astonishingly, is also the hanging place for more than one crocodile. These in fact were attracted out of the lagoon waters by a man who was feeding them chicken. The police stood nearby but allowed the event. Any of us could get up close. The next day people was bathing with their children in the same waters where these crocs were. Did I warn them? yes, but their answer was ..oh! we are ticos, we know the place...Oh, well...

Habitat:

Manuel Antonio National Park outskirts.

Yes, I also find it strange and dangerous because the crocs then get used to associate people with food and I don´t think this is a good idea but it happens in some places.
Great series but strange that feeding them is tolerated.
