Field Notes

Description:

Found this beautiful moth on my window pane outside once I got home. At first it looked like a leaf from the side, I sure am glad I went to see what it was!
It's one of the biggest moths I've ever seen. It has a really cool camouflage coloring to it, and the patterns on it make it look just like a curled up leaf from the side.

Habitat:

Not sure.

Notes:

I think it was around 5 pm when I found him, today was sunny 80-90 degrees weather, with a little bit of a breeze today. It's June now.
