Field Notes

Description:

Dorsal side of the wings are brown with some blue near the body.Light blue hairs of the body. Underside of the wings is a maze of light brown and light color. Two eyespots on the end of the hind wing. Similar to the Cassin species but the range and pattern is different.

Habitat:

Spotted in southern California in a garden.
