Field Notes

Description:

6 petal, yellow flower. Single blossom on stem approx 13 cm tall. 2 long leaves. Blossom grows facing ground.

Habitat:

This was located in grove of Fir trees in West side of Yellowstone National Park. Growing in mostly shade. Ground seemed damp.
