Description:

Another orange headed wasp about 22mm long - this one with paler legs and darker femurs.

Habitat:

On the trunk of a medium sized eucalyptus (Corymbia maculata?) in a large nature reserve.

Notes:

Pink flanks may be visible through the wings? Compare to spotting http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/38080256
