Habitat:

Found up in tree between deciduous forest and area of grass.

Notes:

Spotted at Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge on Flat Lake Trail north of Flat Lake.

He doesn't look very happy! Awesome shot!
Fun fact! A North American porcupine can have more than 30,000 needle sharp quills, which have barbed ends that make them difficult to remove when embedded in another animal’s skin. The quills usually lie flat unless it feels threatened, when it raises them as a deterrent to would-be predators.
